Shilbi Nakarmi

Telling about my personal experience in the welcome and farewell program, there are loads to share.we were informed about the program 1 week before hand. Our seniors had prepared everything, the dress code was red, black and white meaning everyone i.e. the fresher and the outgoing batch had to wear dresses with these colors. The venue was Celebration located at naxal at 12:30pm on 21st January. Everyone was excited as it was our fresher party after our high school.
The program started at 12:30pm but I arrived late with some of my friends. When we reached the venue the program had already started so I missed most of the performance. But I was just in time for the Mr. and Miss fresher. I also got to watch the paper dance which was for the outgoing batch. Dance performance by our seniors and band performance by the BBA students lifted everybody’s spirit since it was already late and everybody was hungry. A video was also shown which brought all the memories spent by the former 8th semester and some of our seniors couldn’t control themselves. Many performances followed after the band performance and finally I ,with my friends ,headed for lunch. After that, our photograph session started. The BBA-B student clicked photos in group along with some of the students from other sections. Everyone started to give different pose and our photo session seemed like it would never end until the dance party started and with loud cheers from all of us. Then, we headed inside for the real party to begin. The dance party was enjoyable when everyone got on the dance floor.
Overall, I enjoyed my fresher at ace to the fullest. Thought half of the program all I was thinking was about food because I was very hungry but being with my friends in the fresher party was all that mattered in the end.
