After waiting so long, finally we got a warm welcome from our seniors. They had organized welcome party on 22nd of January at Naxal in the Celebration Banquet. We were also given a dress code of red, white and black.
As I had taken part for Mr. and Miss. Fresher, I had to go before 12 noon. I faced lots of trouble to find the location. As soon as we reached there we started practicing our songs for the talent round. Unfortunately I didn’t get to practice much with the guitarist therefore I sang without the music, gladly it went good. The program started at 1 pm because many people had not arrived on time. Finally the program started with Mr. and Miss Fresher. We had 3 round firstly introduction, talent and the question and answer round. I had a great experience participating in the contest .There were many band performance and dance which was really entertaining. As soon as the fresher’s round was over many of our seniors performed. There singing and dancing was awesome and impressive, we all had a great time watching the program. Finally the program was over and we all headed for lunch around 5pm and lastly we had dance party. Since it was already getting late we all headed home around 7:30 pm.
Overall, it was a good party and we all enjoyed a lot. So, I’m looking forward for much more exciting events.
