Change is ongoing phenomenon and even let not to bear the stability. Hence the constancy is merely a word in the cosmos. As the time spreads itself in the same way everyone must change his/her position. Likewise I faced the same circumstances and it was due to the time I added the new experience in my life.

It is about the welcome party which I had recently collided with. I had ever experienced such a shameful moment occurred due to the time before. Because I used to be in front in almost activities but the moment made me lean as the last one. As I was the last attendant I myself might not be able to justify the whole performances. Don’t know it is justifiable or not since me neither the commentator nor the judge but as a guest I felt it was lacked of formality. Despite the lack of formality whatever I saw were really amazing. I was so much optimistic to enjoy the whole time but remained the last attendant due to the delay time and compromised myself to have a lot of fun. That indelibly imprinted experience startles me sometimes. The juxtapose situation stroke my mind and became the new experience in my life.

After such a long time, finally our welcome party was announced on the date 21st January which was on Saturday, at Celebration banquet, Naxal. It was held just the day after our mid-term examination. I was planning about the dress I was going to wear for our welcome party since a week before. On 20th jan just before our welcome party I asked my mom to go on a shopping with me to buy the dress. The dress code for the party was black, red or white and I really enjoyed my shopping with my mom. She scolded me too for spending so much of money while shopping. More than 400 students had attended this special event with full excitements.
Unfortunately I reached a bit late in welcome party. I missed some of the programs but enjoyed a lot after I reached there. I saw the students were on the dress code and were looking quite good. Girls were in long skirts or gowns and boys were in their suits. Our senior welcomed us very warmly by performing various dance performances, singing songs and various other programs followed by the dinner. After the dinner which consisted of typical food- rice, meat, curry etc. However, the party was not up to our expectations because we the students had expected it to be a lot more of fun but I would certainly appreciate the efforts of our seniors.
There was some dance party at the end for about hours but I returned home before that. My friends told me that I’d missed the most memorable part of the whole party and I felt bad about it. Nevertheless, it was fun with my friends and seniors at the party.

A party is a gathering of people who have been invited by a host for the purposes of socializing, conversation, or recreation. A party will typically feature food and beverages, and often music and dancing as well. A party is not necessarily a private occasion. Public parties are sometimes held in restaurants, pubs or bars, and people attending such parties may be charged an admission fee by the host.
A welcome party is held for the purpose of welcoming a newcomer, such as a new club member, a new employee, or a family's new baby. As we are the new students for the Ace. They welcome us warmly in the winter. Our venue was in naxal and hall name was celebration hall. Our dress code was red, white and black. The main thing was I didn’t attain the party because I had to do something important in my house. And I enjoyed doing that work. When I saw the photos of my friends in facebook at that time I was upset. What I realize was nothing is important than party and I missed it too much. After completing my work at home I remembered my friends that they are enjoying in the party. Beside that I watched movie, listened music, played basketball, played games in the computer, met my high school friends etc.
The main thing is that I miss the party and I miss my friends.  But I enjoyed with my high school friends at my house.

The welcome party conducted by the students of BBA at 21st January, 2012 was simply terrific as it was pretty refreshing for us because of bearing the stress of midterm test. The venue was Celebrations, Naxal and the time was 12 to 7pm. When I have reached the venue right according to the time given along with my friends and found out the place wasn’t very tempting because it was situated in one of the busiest streets of Kathmandu. There’s a saying that ‘first impression is the last impression’ so it didn’t get my interest much moreover, the security persons weren’t that polite now, let’s move on to the programs of the party; as we’ve gone to the party at noon there was no welcome drink and no snacks I mean that there at least must be something that should make us refreshed and the fresher’s my god!! It was well too much boring and the judges weren’t that interesting however, there was good side of the party as well the food was good and the performances of the band was superb and dance party was terrific and well organized, all the teachers, student’s along with me enjoyed it very much. All in all it was great.

Ajay Lal Manandhar

The welcome party was held on 21st January 2012 at celebration, naxal, by the seniors. It was done just a day after the midterm was over. As me and my friends decided to meet at city center at around 12.30 so I went to ashish’s home at around 11.30. When I reached his home the 1st thing he did was he teased me for wearing suit. After half an hour we went to city center to meet Anish and Paras. After that when moved on to the venue. Everybody went forward as I waited for one of my friend. And that’s where I and my friends lost the way. We roamed two rounds in the city center but couldn’t find the way/ later at last I was the only one to lose the way as my friend already reached there and I called anis to fetch me up. After that in a few minutes we reached the venue again passing by city centre. It was really a bad day for me in travelling experience. We all entered the venue together with a stamp in our wrist and an Ace batch. Then the program began in few minutes. At the beginning there was mr and ms fresher. It wasn’t a great one but as ashish was one of the randomly selected participants we cheered for him. Nobody cheered others as we cheered for him as he was looking handsome, dashing and his speaking was mind blowing and mainly his unforgettable vulgar language used for the q/a part. It was just awesome. The cheering was so loud that the hall was screaming for ashish. After that there wasn’t so good performance. Only the senior band who were given farewell and sujal’s band were only with awesome performance. Then at the ending part the dinner wasn’t also so good. After then I couldn’t attend the beginning of the dance party as I have to drop Dixit at Apex. That was my second travelling experience. Then when I returned to the party the door was closed and I had to wait approximately 5 mins outside. Then when I entered the party everybody was having fun dancing. It was a great dance party. I didn’t dance much but moved to watch others dancing. From our class the best dancer was Hada and the worst was  … maybe I. then after that I dropped trishalla t sukae dhara and that was my last and cold travelling experience of the day. At the end it was really fun dancing and shouting around the hall. Being with friends is just awesome. We can’t know how time passes so fast. Even though I didn’t felt the welcome party so awesome but still being with friends the party was a memorable one. It can’t be forgotten as it is attached with friends.

Tomorrow is welcome party, which dress should I wear not decided yet. Should I wear formal suit or just normal jeans and T-shirt? Well that can be sorted out later but, what about my friends, and to reach on the venue, did I hear the place right? Before I make a blunder mistake, I should ask my friend all the details regarding the welcome party.
The day has finally arrived. According to the theme, I dressed up and ready to go and party. I met my outside the venue and entered inside the hall on time. Well the senior sure have worked hard, its shows. The hall was decorated beautifully and we were welcome properly by our senior. Most of the new comers had arrived and teachers and seniors were already there preparing for the program and formal program started. I was very excited to see the performance of the seniors and too interested in dance and music. All the seniors gave their best in their performance I liked band performancemore. Our coordinator and teacher give speeches. After the formal program, informal program begins. There were many performances by our seniorswho were really good and we were having lots of fun. In between the performances there were competitions to decide Mr. and miss fresher of BBA and BBA BI. The candidates were pretty good but since I wasn’t one of them standing there on the stage it looked pretty dull, just kidding. Mr. and Miss fresher and were the deserving one actually so, I have to say no one was playing politics in the decision committee since the result was fair enough.
After all the performance, I forget to tell, we ate our snacks in between the program and it was yummy. So after the program we have dance party. The lights were dim and every one was on the dance floor. I enjoyed dancing a lot and singing with friends, which I must say was pretty wild. Then we had a dinner with again was very testy and since I was very hungry, I ate a good amount. Then I see off my friend and got back home I surly had a great time in the party and enjoyed a lot with my friend. I am going to cherish these good moment for the rest of my life.

It is much awaited by any fresher’s to experience how their college senior and administration welcomes them. And in such warm process welcome party is one through which interaction between fresher’s and seniors comes in play. I too was quite excited to experience our welcome party and waited for 4 months from the start of the college for this day. The date and the venue for our welcome party ware fixed just a week before. All these things are apart, but the fact which remains the same is, I enjoyed my welcome party a lot.
It was 21st of January 2012, a day after end of my mid-term exam, there came a day for the party. Since there was dress code of Black, White and Red, I comforted myself in black cotton pant, shirt, blazer, and leather shoes. Since venue was unknown to me, I called my friend and reached with him. I found arrangement was quite good, few guard welcoming us on main gate, and some seniors providing us food coupon and a college batch, of course by charging us Rs.100 for the batch. Since the program was not started I was exploring here and there, at the same time I got an offer to participate in Mr. Fresher, since I am not friendly with these kind of activities, I refused the offer and let other to grab the opportunity to be Mr. fresher.
Program started with selection for Mr. and Miss fresher and a lot of hooding from me. The program was going quite well and I enjoyed group dance a lot. Program continued and so increased the excitement in the air. After the farewell of our seniors, we went to have lunch and real fun started from there. Food was good but I disliked the part of serving 2 pieces of meats per head. I ate a lot of “jerry”, one of my favorites. After that we had a group photo session. After photo session when I entered the hall, I noticed the arrangement made for the dance party and then started 1.5 hrs long dance party. Though I m very bad in dancing, I managed to dance and to entertain other with my funny dance steps. Dance party was most memorable part of the whole program. I also came to know, it requires huge stamina to dance for such a long while. It was going quite well, since everything have end, our program ended at 7:30 pm, and left me wet in my own sweat. After greeting everyone, I along with my some friends moved from there, and there started my bad of not getting vehicle, after 1.5 hr long walk I reached to my destination.
This welcome party helped make some new friend, and adding a strong bond with my old mates. It was great fun there and I enjoyed it to the fullest.

On 21st of January 2012, welcome party for fresher’s and farewell for the graduating students was organized we all were informed about the program a week before. The venue was at celebration party palace and the time was 12:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
As every girl gets excited hearing about the party, I was also very much excited and curious how party would be. We were also given a dress code for that day. Black, red and white were the given colours from which we could choose any of them. When I knew about the dress code I went to buy a dress because I had none of them. On the day of the event, I and my friends got ready and we reached the venue at 1:00 pm. There was no crowd and I felt awkward because very few people arrived during that time. At the door, few seniors were only there to welcome us. But later on all my friends arrived and the program began. We all went to the hall and the hall was decorated so beautifully. The decoration was according to our dress code. Many dance performance, band performance was shown by our seniors. All the performances were outstanding. Mr/ms fresher and Mr. /ms ace was also conducted. I didn’t take part in any of them but I enjoyed watching the program. It was already 5 pm. I was so hungry but the lunch was still not arranged. After 15 minutes we were called for the lunch outside the hall. I rushed to eat. The lunch was delicious though there was less variety. I enjoyed eating dessert, fresh “jerry” which was yummy. After the lunch dance party was there. I danced continuously for one hour with my friend which was a great experience of mine.
However, this was not the first event at ace for me but it was an awesome party. I enjoyed a lot and I’m very thankful to the seniors for the warm welcome.

On 21st of January, 2012, I was very excited about the event because this was going to be my first participation being an Acer. Also I was informed about the dress code about the party, so I was also concerned about what will I be wearing. I along with my friends was already planning to look at our best. Luckily everything turned out as expected. Finally on the day of the event, we reached the venue that is “CELEBRATIONS” located at Naxal.  As soon as we reached there, we were provided a batch with a logo of ACE. The venue was well decorated and the place was appropriate. As we entered the hall we managed seat for ourselves. After sometime formally the program started with an opening welcome speech by Kumar sir. Then gradually the program moved on, the participants for Mr. And Ms. Fresher’s from first semester were competing for the title. They were judged on the basis of three rounds and these rounds were introduction round, talent show and question answer round respectively. All of them were talented but due to the few participants on the boy side I was thinking to myself I could have participated too. Then before the announcement of the title holders, other musical performances were held such as group dance, solo dance. Some were funny but some dances were very well performed. Looking at some dance performances I felt like dancing too. Then the winners of Fresher’s were announced. Then again the musical performance continued. Since it was also a farewell party for the outgoing batch, there were some very special and emotional moments. The idea of photo projection representing each and every moment spend by the seniors at ACE was the best of all and everybody liked it the most. There was also a paper dance and it was too funny to look at but it seemed they enjoyed it a lot. There was also announcement of Mr. And Ms. ACE from the outgoing batch. Then the rocking band performances were done. Boys seemed to love the rock performance but girls showed less interest. Overall the program went absolutely well and I enjoyed a lot. Then we went for the dinner and the dinner was good too. Then finally the most awaited dance party took place. Everybody was rocking the dance floor. Then the time for the party was over and we were tired after the whole day celebration. Then we headed towards home, however the hangover of the party was still on. Lastly we are glad towards our seniors for organizing such a wonderful party. We believe there could have been no better welcome than that.

Well our welcome/farewell party of ACE Institute of Management was held on 21st of January 2012 in a place called the "Celebration" banquet. The venue was really decent and elegant so it created a very good impression on me. I reached there half an hour late but the fresher contest hadn't been over yet so I didn’t miss the fun part because when I arrived a guy was swearing like there's no end to the waterfall. There were a lot of exciting moments with many dance and band performances. The ending song for the BBA 8th semester was very good and everybody danced in the end. Well as we say there are ups and down's, there were certain things that did not please me. There were no proper seats available for many of the students, the dance performances were not really in sync with each other and how can we forget the two piece chicken; I mean the food that was served was not worthy of recommendation.

In the end the dance party started from around 6pm and it was great to watch everyone dancing on the floor so overall it was a good experience but not a great one. It could have been better.

21/01/12, 12:30p.m the program started. All of us were very excited. Everyone was dressed up in their best clothes. Red, black and white was the dress code. Almost all of them were dressed in the proper dress code except a few. As the program started, all of them were happy and excited. Then from the 1st semesters mr and ms fresher ware to be chosen. Two of my classmates, Aashish Silwal Molica Tuladhar were participants for Mr. fresher and Ms. fresher. We had fun cheering them. Both did a great job . Molica sang really well but the title was taken away  by the other participant as for Mr. fresher the winner was from BBA BI and Ms. fresher was Dilasha K.C from BBA  section A. The seniors also did a great job. They really performed well. Many of our friends also performed and they gave their best performance. We were enjoying our welcome but at the same time we were dying of hunger. When it was time for lunch all of us rushed towards the dining hall. The dessert jalebi was really good.. my friend Ashish and I enjoyed the jalebi very much. Then it was time for dance party, the most awaited moment. we really had lots of fun while dancing. As Kumar sir announced  the last song for the evening we were upset but we had fun. And finally the welcome was over. We had a great time with our seniors, friends and teachers .

“Welcome party” is held for the purpose of welcoming newcomers such as new employee, new students, etc. Likewise, almost every colleges and universities organize these types of parties so that new students can interact with each other and be familiar with their teachers and other staffs. Ace Institute of Management also organized welcome party for the students of BBA and BBA-BI 1st semester. This party was held on 21st January in “Celebration” which is situated in Naxal. It was a combined party i.e. this party was also a farewell to the students of 8th semester. We knew about the party in advance so I even had bought the dress according to the dress code. Unfortunately, I had food poison so I couldn’t attend the party. Later on my friends told me about the party. When I looked at the pictures, I could figure out that they really had lots of fun. They even told me that the welcome party typically featured food, music and dance as well. I along with my friends had made lots of plans to have an awesome day but sadly I missed the first event of my college. Since till the earlier day we all had our midterm, we all were studying very hard. And we thought that we would enjoy a lot. I just hope that our college organizes similar kind of event very soon so that I too can enjoy and have fun. Welcome party is good to attend but unluckily I couldn’t attend our welcome party.

Deep Rauniyar

We had our welocme party on 21st january i.e the day after our midterm exam. I was really excited about this event because it provided me an opportunity to get to know a lot of people whom I didn’t get to communicate with in regular college days. Most of the attenders followed the dress code which was either red, black or white which complemented the theme of the hall. The programme started with mr and ms freshers and then came along with different band and dance performances. The highlight of the event was the video montage of the outgoing batch and the beautiful charming voice of a girl from 3rd semester who sang “someone like you”, “stitch by stitch”. The band performance by the members of Divine Influence and Wings of spasm rocked the audience. However, we were kept hungry and the dinner was served only at the end of the event and the dinner was also not upto the standard. But the desert was a big hit upon all the atendees. Then followed the two hour dance party that added glitter to the event. All the atendees were enjoying and dancing to their fullest and that particular moment will definetly be a  memorable one to the 1st semester and the outgoing batch. The signature move of kumar sir on the dance floor will forever be remembered. I would like to express my feeling by a quote, “ I didn’t know we were making memories, I just knew we were having fun”. Jai acers ;d

The event started off with mr and ms fresher. Then came the dance and band performances. All the performance were hugly appreciated. The song “someone like you” sung by a girl from the third semester was the highlight of the show.
The wlcome party not only compriosed of freshers but a farewell was also given to the out going batch. The food was served at around 6pm folllowed by the dance program which sumed up the fantastic day.

Finally, the most awaited program “Welcome Party” for fresher was organized on 21st Jan, 2012 in Naxal by our seniors. We were given the dress code: red, black and white. Like other freshers, I was very excited for this party and I choose red and black outfit for this program.
Later, I came to know that two of my friends were not coming so, I decided to go a little late. I was also very frustrated because I couldn’t find the location. Finally one old man helped me to find the place. When the time came for me to enter the big hall I was quite nervous since I was alone and I didn’t see any of my friends. At last my eyes landed on some of my friends who were sitting on the last row. I went to sit with them. When I looked around I saw everyone enjoying and having fun but I wasn’t, may be because my friends were missing. I didn’t enjoy the songs but yes some dances were fabulous. I loved them!!! And in the same time everyone were dying of hunger because it was already too late. The food was ready for us at around 5:30 pm. We ran and took our plate and ate in no time. Since it was already 6:00 pm so, I left the program but later I heard that dance party was really fun.
I had thought that the welcome would be super exciting and super fun but it was not up to my expectations. But, never mind because there are lots more to come in the future.

After working hard for nights and days for our mid-term exams we were welcomed warmly by our seniors on 21st January (the day after our exams ended). The party was organized and held at the Celebrations, Naxal .The date was perfect for this program because we really needed a break after such a hectic week of exams. The selection of venue was perfect because it was not at all difficult to find and we managed to reach there without any trouble.
I reached a little late so I could hear the music and the audience cheering right from the gate itself. I knew it then and there that it was going to be an awesome experience. I searched where my friends were and sat with them and enjoyed the rest of the program.
The ambiance was perfect .No other place could have been suitable for this program. The entire hall was decorated with red and white balloons making it look beautiful and attractive.
I and my friends enjoyed each and every performance performed by our seniors. The selection of songs that they danced on was great and the songs that they sang were so good that we couldn’t help but sing along with them. The dress code i.e. black, white or red was worn and carried well by most who attended the party. The food was superb and the desert was amazing too, we enjoyed the food a lot. The party ended with two hours of dance party where everyone danced and enjoyed to the fullest. We enjoyed every song and danced till the last beat.

I will never forget this day because it brought me closer to my friends in one day than 3 months of classes did. I came to know them even better and got a chance to spend quality time with them. I had never danced and enjoyed myself the way I enjoyed in this party. All in all it was a good and unforgettable experience and will cherish its memories for the rest of my life.

Feeling of welcome itself is great. Everyone attended welcome party, but I couldn’t because of some personal reasons. This was my first opportunity to share some moment with my new friends, but I missed it. I was neither able to attend the orientation program nor share moments in social service. That day I couldn’t help myself thinking, what they would be doing in the party? But that’s ok I still have 4 years, many other chances are sure to come and l definitely won’t let them go away.
Where my other friends made that day special attending party, I also made my day special with my family and relatives. Since this is the month of MAGH (which is also called a month of daughters), some of my relatives came to visit us. They brought lots of presents, sweets and gave me good amount of money too. I really enjoyed it. I had fun chatting with them, recalled foregone days. Yes I couldn’t enjoy that party but I got another excuse to have fun. I also watched all the missed episodes of my favorite serials that I couldn’t watch because of mid-term exam.
But when I saw group photos of those who attend the party, I really felt bad. Then I imagined myself in the photo smiling and consoled myself. I felt good when some of my friends asked me, why I didn’t came to the party. Though I couldn’t attend the party, I had a marvelous day with my family and my relatives.

I am writing to express the fun and excitement I had during the welcome program conducted on January 12 2012 on Saturday. The venue was situated at ‘celebration’, Naxal. We entered the venue at 1:30 when the program was about to start. The program began with a pretty good and warm welcome by the seniors. The program started with the fresher talent hunt. Secondly, there was dance program which was pretty fun. Next was various band performances which brought the floor dancing and entertaining. The singers and dancers entertained us a lot. After some time the seniors started the paper dance program which was fun. They were enjoying themselves which was a pleasure to watch. They also prepared a short promo of their video regarding their past about their college life which was memorable and at the same time well edited. At last we had a group photo of our section and went off to dinner. After that the fun really started. There was a huge dance party. The music was enjoyable and there were DJs too.
In conclusion I would like to say that the food was nice. The management was not pretty impressive but the security was good. We had fun with our friends and that was a nice time we had during the welcome party.

Dixit Pokharel

The welcome party of Ace institute of management at “celebrations” was fantastic. This year’s welcome was the best till date, as I heard it from the teachers. First of all the management was very good. All the things were properly managed. After entering the gate, seniors gave us a batch and a food coupon.
The program started with selection of Mr. and Mrs. Fresher’s. All the participants were happy. The students started to perform their acts. Some danced and some sang. All the activities were fantastic. There were tea and coffee outside for students. After some hours the food was ready. Every one lined in a queue to have lunch. The food was very good and the program resumed after lunch. The Dances were fantastic and the songs were also good. All of them showed their talents.
Then I, along with my section friends, captured group snaps with everyone. All of them were happy and enjoying the party. Finally the dance party started and everyone started dancing. It was so fun that those who didn’t know to dance also danced.

The welcome organized by the 2nd year BBA on 21st January 2012 was cosmic. Honestly, I was in great dilemma on this day as I had to attend the welcome party as well as my sister’s engagement ceremony. So, I decided to bifurcate the day, and experience both once in a life time occasions.
I was already excited for 21st January the night before, contemplating about the enjoyment and the people I will be meeting tomorrow in both events. I woke up at about 5 am, did my chores and got involved with all the unfinished work for my sister’s engagement ceremony along with family members. My sister was busy with the people from the salon all working for her to look drop dead gorgeous as it was her day. Though it was hectic, I managed to energize myself for this day. With all the works completed and all set at about 10 am my parents commanded me to go clean myself and get dressed up as my sister’s fiancé along with his parents, relatives and other invited guests would be arriving soon. The ceremony began at 11:30 am and as my sister walked down the stairs to the renovated living room, I was thunderstruck to see her so beautiful moreover the most beautiful on this planet. The ceremony started, and was now declared as fiancé truly. With happiness and celebration in our home made me feel like as if it was heaven for a while. After lunch I involved myself in talks with family members, sister’s fiancé and other guests and by that time it was already 4 pm. So, with the permission of my parents and especially my sister I took off for the welcome party.
I reached the venue which was the Celebration banquet situated in Naxal. I could hear the loud music thumping from the parking. As people say, ‘it’s never too late’. The party had just begun. After entering the hall I met all my classmates and took a group photo for a memory. We were cracking up jokes and having a good conversation with all the friends around me. By that time it was about 6pm. The MC for the party asked all of us to gather in the hall, the number of students was colossal thus the entire hall was turned into a dance floor. The massive speakers pumping sound provided an adrenaline rush to all. The whole college was now dancing and singing together, it was a moment to remember. It was 7 already and the organizer announced that the party will soon be over. As every great thing must come to an end the party was over and all the students went home with nothing but priceless memories and fun.
For me 21st January 2012 was a day to remember. In conclusion, what I have learned from these great events is that if I can manage time like this and implement on everything I do, I can seriously enjoy every moment of my life.

The welcome party was organized by the students of Ace Institute of Management to welcome the new batch of this year on 21st Jan 2012 at Naxal. The venue was accessible to all the students. This program was organized with the aim to familiarize different activities of the college and introducing the students to each other. And the dress code was decided, Black, Red and White.
It is said that the program was very interesting due to its dynamic activities. Dynamic in the sense that they include dance, music, dramas, cultural program and so on. Many students including some of my friends attended this program and they did enjoy it a lot. Most of the students enjoyed the dance program. It is said that the drama played was excellent and memorable. Although the venue was accessible to all the students, I couldn't attend this program due to some personal reasons. It was my misfortune to miss such a wonderful program.
On the same day, my school friends decided to go for a picnic at Godavari, but at the mean time it was postponed for a week. And I rather felt good for this since I was not interested to go for the picnic. I wanted to spend my whole day at my home, but I had to go to my aunt house. I stayed there for a while. On the way back to my home, I met my friend, talked to him and returned home together. I really enjoyed my time with him.

One eye on girls, one eye on road, one ear on music, one ear on noise, cigarette on mouth, legs for walking. What a busy life!!!
I went to Sri Pashupati Nath temple on the day of welcome party. I took a walk from my home to Gaushala. i had been planning to go there before few weeks. So, i straightly went to Kailash hill first and sat down and began to observe for a while. Then I took out a novel from my bag and when I had just opened the book, my cell phone rang. It was one of my friend who was in the welcome party and he told me that they were enjoying very much. Actually the welcome party didn’t really mean much to me. I rarely attend parties. But still i began reminiscing the moments of the welcome party of my +2 and I missed my ex-girlfriend. My mood began to change. Then I started thinking about her. The reason I left her is that you can carry a 'paado' no doubt, carry it daily, try it regularly.... but eventually a day will come when it becomes a 'bhainsi' and the reality is that ~ you can never carry a 'bhainsi' !! Then I started observing the people. Sounds of birds, sounds of ghanti ‘twang’, bhajan, the crowd of people and so on was making me feel good.  I looked at my wallet and there was only two rupees. Thuikaa Life…..
Then after suddenly some lines of poem came on and I went on writing:
Ma swarthi, ma paagal, ma bhar navaako!!
Kaha rakhau timi lai ma ghar nabhaako??
..............................................
my day went like that!!!!

After a long wait, the excitement in us arose suddenly when the date of our Welcome Party was announced. The students of first semester were eagerly waiting for this day to come and it was finally there. It was held on 21st, January(Saturday)  at Celebrations in Naxal  and the time was from 12:30 to 7 p.m. Our dress code was black, red and white.  On 20th January (Friday), which was also the last day of our exam, all of us had no other plans rather than doing shopping for the party. Talking about me, I went to numerous stores and searched dresses which had to go with our dress code. Finally I got one and went home thinking of the fun I will have the other day.
Finally the day came and I was all set to attend the party. I went an hour late intentionally as I thought that it would not start on time but unfortunately I was wrong. The party had already started when I reached the venue and missed some important performances especially  the Fresher’s part.  I looked all around the hall and could see around 75% of the students had dressed according to dress code. All guys and girls looked stunning. It was also the farewell party of the students of eighth semesters and we could figure it out how much they loved being part of Ace. We could feel the feelings they had while enjoying with their friends and sharing their happiness with one another. After the performances were over, we went to have our lunch and waited impatiently for the dance party to start. We took some snaps in free time and the dance party started after few minutes. The loud music of dance numbers played by the DJ made all of us gather on the dance floor and dance on it beats. It was awesome. Dancing with friend in different styles in different music was just fantastic. The feeling of wildness in that crowded dance floor was very enthusiastic. Everyone danced passionately until their legs were hurt. It was a great feeling. We danced for about an hour and it was over. We went to our homes after it ended.
The fun was unlimited and it cannot be expressed in words. The seniors did a great work in organizing the party and succeeded in making a great one. It is one of my memorable days and I will always treasure it.

Huge banner hung that said “Welcome”, I along with my friends, dressed in black and white proceeded inside the venue ‘Celebrations’ on 21st Jan, 2012. I was very excited about the party. As we entered the gate, we were provided a badge of Ace’s logo.
We went inside the hall where the program was to be conducted. The program was started by a welcome speech given by Kumar sir. The speech given by Kumar sir was really appreciable. The program went on gradually with various events. To win the title for Mr. and Ms. Fresher, participants from first semester were competing with one another. They were judged on the basis of introduction round, talent show and question answer round. Until the results were out, in due time other events were held. There was solo dance, group dance, musical performance, etc. The result for Mr. and Ms. Fresher were out and the winners were deserving too. Since this party was also a farewell party for the outgoing students, they got a little emotional and sad. After the program was all over we went to have our meal. After we had our meal, we burned the dance floor by dancing with energy. It was the most entertaining moment of the day. We enjoyed ourselves by dancing until the party was over. We went home back after a long day celebration.
With this the amazing party thrown by Ace and Acers was over. This indeed was a fabulous party that I will never forget. All in all, the duration we spent at ‘Celebrations’ was fantastic. Thank you, Ace and seniors for organizing such a wonderful party.

Well, the notice regarding the welcome program itself became embarrassing for me because our exam was going on and kumar sir wrote down the notice on the board in our class, which I could not see because I didn’t have my spectacles on!! Urghh…I had to ask my friends about the date, venue and the dress codes. In addition, the exam on that day was even worse.. All in all, I didn’t get a good sign for the upcoming welcome program…..

It might be because of the exams that I felt like it was ages till the welcome party . But finally, when the day knocked at our doors, I was dying out of common cold and feeling all dizzy… Poor me …… But still, gathering all the energy and excitement left inside me, I reached “Celebration” with my friends. For the first few hours, I had severe headache and couldn’t realize what was going on around me. But after intake of a painkiller, I slowly started to feel better and started enjoying the program to some extent. There were dance performances and music. Tons of thanks from my side goes to the dance performers because their dance, which I found to be funny made me feel alive and even more fresh.

Almost half of program was over and my stomach had started growling by then but there was no hint of lunch!! We just had a cup of tea and spent some quality time chatting. We were there in the hall only for some exciting program like paper dance and heavy metal performance from our batch’s students. Later, was the cake cutting ceremony and dance by the eigth semester students which I found to be the most boring part of the program as it had nothing to do with us.. I would have been pleased if they had a cake for us too ;-P……. Again, there were dance and heavy metal, dance and heavy metal and dance and heavy metal….. Finally, we had our lunch at around 5 in the evening!... We were like “thank god! We atleat got to have something..” Again after this and that, the most awaited moment of the day arrived that was the DANCE PARTY. The music was played and we were there on the dance floor, dancing like crazy people……………….. But, alas!! I was supposed to be home by 7 that day as I had to bid goodbye to my aunt who had a flight at 9o’clock. Poor, poor me. I had to let go of the dance floor and return home. But still, the last 30 minutes that I spent there was the best of the day that I had.

As it is said, ”Everything is good, if it ends good.” So, the welcome party all in all, was LOVELY! pastedGraphic.pdf

The college welcome ceremony has been more personalized and intimate to me, with newly admitted students celebrating with other senior students.
It was the day on Saturday 21st January, 2012 where we had our welcome program at CELEBRATIONS, NAXAL. The date and venue selection was perfect for the welcome program because we guys were seriously seeking for a break after attending such a tight schedule of Mid-term exams and also not so difficult to manage to reach venue without any inconvenience. Me and my friends reached the venue on time. We were welcomed by our seniors on the main entrance gate of the venue. By the time of entrance, we new comers were stamped on our wrist and the badge of ACE was provided to us with some charges. After that we move inside the auditorium, where the function was about to start. The entire auditorium was decorated with red and white balloons making it look beautiful and attractive. We all friends took our respective places.
Before the function got started, Assistant Director of Ace Institute of Management             (under graduate) Mr. Kumar Thapa welcomed us formally with short & sweet speech. After the warm and humble welcome, our host started program with very interesting competition titled with “Mr. and Miss Fresher” among the new students. I really enjoyed this competition and the participants were awesome. Similarly, remaining programs began with lots of dances, music concerts and band performances. Me and my friends enjoyed  the performances given by our seniors and the song selections were fabulous and too good.
By the completion of all the stage functions, we had our lunch. The lunch was very delicious and tasty. After the lunch, we classmates took some group photos. Then, it was time for the last function and i.e. DANCE PARTY. All the Acers were excited to get on the DANCE FLOOR. More than 300 Acers were dancing with loud and energetic sounds of songs and I was also one of them.
By the end of day, our program ended exactly at 7:15 P.M. we all friends bid each other good bye and all of us moved towards our own destiny…

21st January, Saturday was the day all the new batch of BBA was waiting for. It was the day where the seniors threw the welcome party for the first batch as well as farewell for the last batch. This was the day where all the seniors and juniors came together for the celebration.
The party started at sharp 12 pm at Celebration Banquet situated in Naxal. The arrangement made by the organizers was awesome. Almost all the students in the party were dressed in red, white or black according to the dress code set by the organizers. As the time was moving the charm of the party was on heat. The program continued with dance performance, singing, band performance and other entertainments. I along with my band members Ankit and Kundan performed on Nirvana’s and RHCP’s songs. The performance went well and the feedback was good. Mr. and Ms. Fresher were also chosen from among the new batch. Eventually, the party was followed by the dinner. Although the other arrangements and entertainments were good the dinner was not satisfactory. It did not match up to our expectation. After the dinner, there was dance party at the party hall. As the music volume took its peak, the crowd at the hall grew bigger. Everyone was enjoying and the dance mood was on the floor. Slowly the energy level came to an end point and the party was finally over at around 7 pm.
I enjoyed as the welcome party brought many new faces to my contact which was a good and friendly experience.

After waiting for three long months and having a stressful exam week, all of us were super excited about the most awaited day, “The Fresher Party” which was scheduled to be held on January 21, 2012. As I’ve never attended a welcome party in my life, thinking about the party used to excite and energize me at the same time. A day before the fresher most of the girls were busy shopping and gossiping about what to wear on that very day and I was also a part of it.
Finally, the day arrived. I woke up early in the morning and immediately after completion of my daily chores, I headed towards my friend’s place. Since girls are girls after all, we took a very long time to get ready which made us late for almost two hour. We eventually missed the very interesting part of the day, “Mr.  & Miss Fresher Contest”. There were many dance and band performances performed by our seniors and friends.  All of the band performances were breathtaking. I felt very good to see so many talented peoples around.  This day was not only special for us but also for eighth semester students, as it was their farewell. It was around 5 when we had our lunch. ‘Tato Tato jalebi’ was just out of the world. We also clicked our class photo for memory. Soon after clicking photograph the MC for the event asked all of us to gather at hall for dance party which was the highlight of the day. It was awesome to dance and make people dance. During the dance party all of my friends including me went crazy and danced wild.  It was around 7:30 when the party was over and finally we headed towards our respective places.
For me, it was a super duper fun filled day. I enjoyed every second of it and will cherish these moment throughout my life. ‘Jai Acers’!!!

Welcome party for BBA first year was held just the day after the mid term exam was over. There were so limited time and also there was a dress code which made us very hard  to find the dress within the limited time of the day. But luckily, I got the dress with all the colours that were required. I was so happy and excited for the party.
Next day, with full of excitement, I called my friend and decided to meet at the City Center. But unfortunately, I couldn't make within the time so I asked them to leave for the party. Then one of my friend picked me up and we went ahead to the "Celebration height" where the party was held.
We were warmly welcomed by our seniors and teachers. Different programs were held. Many of our seniors performed to entertain us. And there too was a small competition for the new students, Mr. and Miss. Fresher, which was very enjoyable. Since the welcome for the 1st semester and farewell for the 8th semester was held together, there were much programs and games for the 8th semester too. We enjoyed the program very much even when we were starving to death as the supper took a long time to get served. Quickly we had a dance party after supper which made the party much lively. After the party was over me and my friends went to the restaurant to have dinner. Then we left the restaurant and immediately after reaching home I had a sound sleep due to tiredness.
We must say that the party was awesome with full of enjoyment. We had blissful moment. As the party started with the kick start of my Bachelor year career, hope this will be the momentum to remember for me.

We were informed about the welcome programme before one week. The exact time for the programme was 12:30 and the party venue was at Naxal. I was very excited about the program. The dress code was fixed and it was red, black and white. So due to dress code, I was really unhappy because I didn’t have any party dress of those three colors. So, I went for shopping before one day. I reached by the venue at 1 o’clock but program was not started and I could hardly see any of my friends. But after sometimes my friends came and program also started at 1:30. Though there was dress code but only 60 percentage of the people followed dress code. Welcome programme began with Mr. and Ms. Fresher and then there was dance, songs and so on. Our elders gave us a very grand welcome and I really enjoyed with my friends. But I was really very hungry, in fact my all friends were very hungry. So we couldn’t enjoy as much as we enjoyed before. After waiting for few hours finally we ate food. I was very hungry so I ate almost two plates. Then the programme continued with the metal songs, dance performance, cake cutting programme of eighth semester and their funny dance etc. but the life of the programme was dance party. All programmes were done by 5:50 . So the dance party began at 6 o clock. I enjoyed a lot dancing with friends. I danced a lot and made funny dancing steps but I couldn’t stay till the end of the programme because one of my friend was getting late so I moved from the programme at about 6:30.
Hence, this welcome programme was just awesome, mind-blowing and superb and if I have to describe it in one words then it was just ‘Wow’.
                                                                                                                                                Sapana shahi

I was very excited about going to welcome party which was going to be held on 21 Jan 2012. As welcome party was just after the end of our mid-term exam so, it also was a kind of break to us after long studies.  Finally on the event day we all friends reached the place called “celebration”, which was properly decorated by our all seniors. At first we were provided a badge of ace by our seniors and we were sent to the hall where the program was going to happen. The program was formally started by Kumar sir speech following the Mr. and Ms. Fresher competition. The competition was good and entertaining.  After the fresher’s were crowned, there were many dance and musical performances done by seniors and also by some of our friends. The whole program went well and we all enjoyed a lot. Then we went to have lunch we discussed about the program with each other while having lunch. Since it was also a farewell party to outgoing batch so after lunch farewell program continued with entertaining activities like paper dance, cake cutting etc. The program was not over, yet the most awaited dance party was going to take place. Finally the dance party started. Everyone was rocking on the floor. We all danced till we were sweating. Finally the program came to an end. We were very much thankful towards our seniors for organizing such a wonderful party. This was the best welcome I have ever received.

Welcome party for the 1st semester and farewell party for the 8th semester graduating students of Ace Institute of Management was held on 21st January 2012. It was held just the day after the mid-term exams. We were informed about the program on the day on which our exam ended. The venue was celebration party palace,Naxal from 12:30-7:00p.m and there was a dress code(red, black, white) from which we could choose any. I was looking forward for the party. On the day of the event, I reached the venue at about 3:00p.m.Our seniors were at the doorstep to welcome us. We could only enter the venue with our ID cards. The decorations were all very good and eyecatching. The decorations matched with our dress code, and was very colourful. The program was well managed and organized. Band and dance performance were well performed by our seniors.Mr./Ms fresher and Mr./Ms ace was also conducted, which was fun watching. I didn’t participate in any of the programs. There were games in which many people participated. It was almost about 5p.m. and the lunch was still not served. I almost starved to death. After a while, the lunch was arranged and we were called outside the hall to have lunch. I rushed outside the hall to stay in line. The food was okay, but the dessert was delicious. After the lunch, there was a dance party and people were dancing everywhere inside the hall, which made the party more lively. I was the only one watching people dance like mad. I didn’t enjoy very much but can say that the party was great by looking at the expressions of the students inside the hall.

The Ace undergraduate Welcome and Farewell programme was held on 21st January, 2012 at Celebration Banquet, Naxal.  More than 400 students had attended this special event with full excitement.
As it was our very first formal event, we were all very excited. Also since we had a dress code to follow-Red, Black and White, it was interesting as well as a challenge for us. I could see most of the student sincerely following the dress code. Various dance and songs were performed by our seniors. I especially loved the cover of Adele’s “Someone like you” and the Bollywood dance by our seniors. The paper dance done by the ex-students was also very entertaining to watch. The dinner which consisted of the typical food-rice, curry, meat however was not as good as expected. The most memorable part of this day was the 2-hour dance party. DJ played awesome dance numbers and everyone of us danced till the last beat . It was just simply amazing to enjoy that way with all our friends.
It was overall a very fun program; however I felt that the main focus was only on the seniors. It would have been even more enjoyable for us if there were more activities targeted for us –THE FRESHERS. But still, I have treasured that moment and will always cherish it.

Our welcome ceremony was made to be held on 22 of January in Naxal. I've thought of attending the event till the last  day, but there are times when things don't work out accordingly. On my part I couldn't attend this special day but honestly i  don't think i have missed much because I really don't know exactly what I had missed. Well some did say they had a blast  But there were also the ones who said there was nothing so special to miss and I didn't bother to know either.
It may sound much like a cock and a bull story but seriously one of my besties who had been away for some time called me  over to meet her only hours ahead of the event and i don't know why I couldn't say no. we spent all day shopping for her  from dresses to casuals, food to spices and shoes to bags and guess what I really improved my bargaining skill!!
Undoubtedly, I'll cherish that day for long as I'm sure such days are not going to come anytime soon. Perhaps this time I  was more of a rational for not letting this stance probably one last, which i hope not to let go.
However, that day is already gone and rested. So, I'm really looking forward for the next event also to be a part of it and  Waiting for what it has in store for me.
